Join Simon Stephens as he discusses the process of adapting the best-selling novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, into the award-winning play which opened at the National Theatre in 2012, toured the world and is now playing at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End.
Making Props for Curious Incident…
Thur 11 April, 5.30-6.30pm, Cottesloe Room (within the National Theatre)

Hear from Michael Garrett who made some of the props for the original production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Mike will discuss the making process, from getting the designs from the designer, to how the team made them into reality using different materials and objects. You will see one or two of the props up close, and take a look into the National Theatre props workshop.

Designing Curious Incident…with Bunny Christie

Designer Bunny Christie talks about the process of designing The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, from the initial design concept through to the set that can be currently seen on stage in the production. Includes the opportunity to see the initial model of the Curious Incident… set, and to step on to the stage to see the final set up close.
