My Curious Documentary

On Tuesday 10th November at 10.35PM, the BBC aired a brand new documentary about The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time on BBC One.

The documentary covers the adaptation of the story from book to stage alongside moving contributions from children and families affected by autism.

The programme uncovers how Christopher’s story has helped to transform understanding and awareness of autism, a neurological condition that affects 1 in 100 children. The short film, entitled “Imagine…My Curious Documentary” includes original rehearsal room footage as well as interviews with the creative team including director Marianne Elliot and writers Mark Haddon and Simon Stephens.

Alongside Curious Incident footage, the Broadway cast visit the families of children affected by autism who discuss the challenges that they face due to the condition.
