CURIOUS INCIDENT DIRECTOR AWARDED OBE

Marianne Elliott is to receive an OBE for her services to theatre in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours list. In response to the news Elliott said: “When I was a child, growing up in Stockport, I never thought it was even possible for a young woman to become a theatre director, let alone be blessed with the career I have had. To be recognised in this way is very moving and I hope an inspiration to other young woman that anything is possible.”
